Welcome to the Place 

Bedford Borough Council&rsquo;s emerging Local Plan 2040 (consulted on last year) includes Greyfriars as an opportunity for regeneration and the development of new homes.The Council and bpha are able to use their own land and buildings to stimulate regeneration of key town centre locations and build high quality urban neighbourhoods.In building new homes and replacing existing ones, bpha and the Council will want to take a long term view by providing homes that ﬁt well into the neighbourhood, are of high quality, are environmentally sustainable and will stand the test of time.Vision for the future of GreyfriarsAfter hearing your views, we have prepared the following aspirations for the future of Greyfriars. It will:<ul><li>Be delivered through working in partnership with existing residents, landowners, other stakeholders, and the wider community.</li><li>Make the best use of the Partnerships&rsquo; assets.</li><li>Be well-connected and safe. The site&rsquo;s central location presents the opportunity to enhance safe sustainable travel to the town centre and nearby facilities.</li><li>Be a sustainable new neighbourhood. Public land ownership means the site offers an opportunity to demonstrate sustainable design, and target net zero carbon development.</li><li>Be diverse. The redevelopment offers the opportunity for new housing types and tenures appropriate for meeting the existing residents&rsquo; needs as well as new demand to create a mixed and balanced community.</li><li>Be a green place. Building Safety Event

Following on from our Kitchen &amp; Bathroom event earlier in the year when customers were invited into bpha Bedford Heights, customers were asked to select 5 of their favourite options out of 10 options available. Thanks to these customers the options have now been selected and used in our installations . We are delighted to share with you some of the installations that have happened since April.Here are some quotes from customers that have recently had a new kitchen or bathroom.&quot;I&rsquo;m extremely happy with my lovely kitchen from bpha. Excellent, customer-led, responsive service from Lewis who was thoroughly professional from start to finish. He took time to understand My needs and likes as I needed more Storage, and was very Understanding. Lewis and Nick came up with some lovely designs features of kitchen units and layout in 3D. They also made lots of very practical suggestions to make my kitchen work for me. The kitchen fitters Miles &amp; Quincey and the rest of the team, worked extremely hard, even squeezing in additional work within the original planned time frame, and all to a very high standard. such a great Team who are very efficient and Trustworthy couldn&rsquo;t have asked for a better team than this.&quot;&quot;After our conversation yesterday just wanted to message to confirm that Quincy and Miles were absolutely wonderful. Friendly, professional and they did a brilliant job with my kitchen I have no complaints I love it and again they did such a great job.&quot;&quot;WOW where do I begin firstly I would like to say thank you for my new kitchen. As for the workmen Stuart and Carl I was absolutely delighted with the work they both done from start to finish. They were here on time every day they were both polite got on with their work and cleaned up after themselves every single day. I would recommend them both and my kitchen looks absolutely gorgeous. As I stated only downfall was not having the cooker . But once again thank you so much.&quot;

The new site is designed to help you find the information you need quickly and easily.You told us you wanted to be able to report a repair and access your bpha account quickly and easily and these are now prominent buttons on the home page for you to do this. Immediately below these are quick link buttons which take you to information on how you can get involved with shaping our services and ways to pay to your rent.The site also includes live data, such as how long the wait times are for the Customer Communications Centre and the Repairs Team to help you decide the best method and time to get in touch.Thank you to our customer group, who played such an important role in shaping and testing the new website. Their feedback very much influenced how it looks and works.As with anything of this scale, you may experience a few glitches over the first few weeks.
