Meet Nicky and Margaret at our Linmere Listening Lounge

Nicky, bpha Community Engagement Officer and Margaret bpha Housing Officer are launching a brand-new opportunity for Linmere residents to come together in an informal and relaxed setting. Every Monday from 13 July, 12pm – 3pm they will be hosting Linmere Listening Lounge at the Roam Cafe, Huckett Street. An opportunity for you to meet your neighbours, share your ideas, and help shape Linmere’s future.

Before joining bpha, Nicky assisted local groups, schools, clubs and community organisations supporting Sport England programmes through the Bedfordshire Active Partnership. With a background in leisure and sports development, she is passionate about bringing people together through activity, partnership and shared local priorities.

“I’m excited to be part of a new development with so many opportunities to connect residents. I’m looking forward to working with customers and local services to bring people together and create a community where everyone can feel proud to live.”

Margaret has worked in the social housing sector for over 25 years mainly in and around Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.

“I’m pleased to be part of the growing new community at Linmere. My role is to give guidance to bpha customers on housing related concerns including anti-social behaviour and rent collection. I’ll also be working in collaboration with our colleagues and partner agencies such as the local authority and the police to ensure our community is a safe and welcoming place for everyone.”

They look forward to seeing you at Linmere Listening Lounge for a cuppa and a chat.
