Tenant Arrears – Letter Review
What we are doing
When a bpha tenant ends their tenancy, any debt on the closed rent account is known as former tenant debt. We have a procedure that we follow to recover any former tenant debt, which includes a number of letter templates, some of which are in the sample below.
We recently carried out a review of all our former tenant letters, following feedback from customers that the letters weren’t very user friendly.
How you can get involved
Please read the four letters below. I have included a closing balance letter (CLOD) that would only be used when the tenant is deceased. In all other circumstances, we would use the closing balance letter (CLOS), the letter one (LET1), and the letter three (LET3).
I would love to hear your feedback on the letters. Please complete the survey to give your feedback and add your questions or ideas on the tabs below.
